It is time to claim our economic power as workers and our people power in the streets. May Day is International Workers Day and since 2006 it has been a national day of immigrant rights marches. As we defend our communities from Trump’s attacks, we need to demonstrate our collective power more than ever. Join Young Workers United, Jobs with Justice, Chinese Progressive Association, CARACEN & more to protest ICE in SF.
Immigrant rights groups, unions, the California Women’s March and the Bay Area Climate Mobilization are calling for massive marches and STRIKE. This is an invitation to all working people, to all communities:
Let us stand up together for a world where human rights and equality are respected. We are fighting for a world in which immigrant families are no longer torn apart, in which every child gets a good public education, every parent can access affordable childcare, every family has quality healthcare, every senior can retire in dignity, and good jobs for all our communities.
