Pontiac, MI | National Day Without Immigrants

This May 1st if you are an immigrant and/or believe in immigrants’ rights join the national boycott do not go to work, school or buy anything on this day join Indivisible North Oakland and Pontiac, Cosecha, ACLU, Michgan United and several other local organizations at our Day Without Immigrants march in Pontiac. Lets show the public how much the economy of this country depends on immigrants, but most importantly that Pontiac is ready to stand up again for human and labor rights of all immigrants!

Este 1ro de mayo si eres un inmigrante o/y crees en los derechos de los inmigrantes únete al boicot nacional no vayas a trabajar, a la escuela o a comprar, únete a Indivisble North Oakland y Pontiac, Cosecha ACLU, Michigan United y varias otras organizaciones locales y marcha con nosotros en la ciudad de Pontiac. Demostremos al público cuánto la economía de este país depende de los inmigrantes, pero más importante que Pontiac esta listo para defender de nuevo los derechos humanos y laborales de los inmigrantes!



What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking will be avaible in the City Hall Parking lot and surronding. But we sugget you car pool.

What can I bring into the event?

Bring Signs of solidarity supporting the protection of immigrants and civil rights of minorities.

We are taking can goods and non-perishable food donations for those many families that have been separtated by losing the break winner like a father of mother or both. Those will be collected at the end of our March at St Vincent De Paul Church located on 120 Lewis Street, Pontiac Mi, 48342.

Do we need to have our printed ticket from Eventbrite to attend?
A: No, you do not.

Where will the march to to?

We will start at Pontiac City Hall with the Rally and March to St Vincent De Paul Catholic church where the march will end.

I’m not a minority of immigrant, am I invited?

Yes! Anyone who believes that immigrant and minorty rights are human rights.
